MULTI-THREAT STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Protective systems are designed against blast pressure, shock-wave propagation, fragment impact, debris hazards, progressive collapse, and fire exposure. Wide-span structural configurations and large hangar access openings are optimized without compromising blast resistance or operational flexibility.

HIGH-FIDELITY BLAST SIMULATION

LS-DYNA® nonlinear dynamic simulations are used to evaluate the global and local response of hangar structures under project-specific blast loads. Advanced FEM, coupled FEM/ALE, and fluid–structure interaction methods capture shock reflection, pressure distribution, structural deformation, and load transfer mechanisms

STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY AND FAILURE ASSESSMENT

The analysis evaluates roof and wall deformation, connection damage, local buckling, fragment penetration, support failure, and progressive collapse mechanisms. Critical structural components, protective doors, cladding systems, and load-bearing frames are assessed against defined damage and survivability criteria.

PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION AND VALIDATION

Simulation results are used to optimize structural geometry, protective materials, reinforcement details, and energy-dissipation systems.
